GEOxyz strengthens deepwater survey capabilities with acquisition of Osprey AUV

16 April 2025 – GEOxyz is excited to announce the acquisition of the Osprey Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) from Teledyne Marine, enhancing its subsea survey capabilities, particularly for deepwater projects.

This agreement, finalized at the Ocean Business 2025 exhibition in Southampton, marks a strategic investment for GEOxyz in subsea technology. The Osprey AUV will support ongoing and upcoming offshore projects, with a focus on operations in the Mediterranean Sea and other deepwater environments.

Osprey AUV: deepwater surveying

The Osprey AUV, designed by Teledyne Marine, brings advanced features that are essential for deepwater survey and inspection activities. With a 2000m depth rating and extended endurance options, the AUV is capable of conducting long-duration missions in some of the most demanding subsea environments.
